Infrastructure
WP Engine dedicated hosting on Google Cloud Platform, anchored in the Montreal (northamerica-northeast1) region. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified data center. Sovereign-grade compliance for Canadian and EU data-residency requirements.
Encryption
AES-256 at the storage device layer (SSD), AES-128 at the file system / sub-file chunk layer. Encryption keys for storage devices are segregated from keys used in the storage system layer. TLS 1.3 in transit. SSL provisioned and renewed for every domain.
High Availability
Automatic failover to standby instances during failure or maintenance. Multi-environment topology — Production, Staging, and Development — fully segmented so a fault in one cannot bleed into another.
Network Defense
Linux iptables firewalls, cloud network and host-level firewalls filtering inbound traffic. Layer-3/4 and Layer-7 DoS mitigation via WP Engine and GCP edge.
Kernel & Runtime Hardening
AppArmor (Linux Security Module) enforcing mandatory access control at the kernel level — restricting filesystem access, networking, and inter-process communication. PHP write-permission hardening prevents unauthenticated file manipulation and code injection.
Intrusion Detection & Prevention
IDS + IPS instrumented across the host and network layers. Malicious activity is identified, alerted on, and actively blocked — not merely logged.
